What is it?
I believe the internet should be a strange place, full of personal spaces. Irrelevant.Dev is the space I'm building for myself. I have plans, but I've started enough side projects to know not to make any promises. It's unclear what all this place will become, but I hope each piece will be fun or useful in some way.
There will be technical posts about software and technology. I am a software engineer by profession. I'm currently working mostly in native Android development, but have a background in general Web and Mobile dev. I'm also a hobby game developer as half of Roaring Cat Games.
There will be silly things like Chicago Style. Why not bring back a little "Hot Dog Stand" flavor? Just click the link again to turn it back off. We'll even remember your ketchup & mustard preferences between visits for you super fans.
Why "Irrelevant.Dev"?
I'm a software developer, but of no high importance. I've not done anything groundbreaking, and my perspective isn't particularly unique.
The internet should be strange, and it is. There are still incredibly niche and bizarre corners of the web, and we should be seeking them out. With so many sources pushing content right to our eyeballs, it's become an odd feeling to go looking and searching for something new.
